I Am Retiring!
After much consideration, I have decided to retire. My wife retired last year and there are some things we want to do while we can. I have really enjoyed working with all of my customers over the years and the time spent in the shop shaping these foils and tillers. Thank you!!
The even better news is that a friend of mine is taking over the business!
Gordo Barcomb has all the patterns and jigs and is in the process of getting his shop in order. He will be in production in short order. Gordo and I have spent time in the shop together and I have to say his boards look like mine.

About Us
I built my first boat in 2005 and found the building process to be almost as much fun as being out on the water. Since that time I have built several boats, some for me and some for others.
In December 2019 I decided to buy John Owens' business of making rudders, daggerboards and tillers for several production boats. I always found that these were some of my favorite parts to make during a boat build. The foil is such an intimate part to the performance of the boat and making one that water would flow smoothly over fascinated me.
John has
a great reputation for quality products at a fair price and it is my intent to continue that tradition.
